I started taking Meratol on Mon 18th July 2011.I am just coming to the end of my first 6 weeks and at present have lost 1 stone and 3 pounds. Firstly Meratol DOES work, I have lost inches due to the reduction of fluid retention, no longer crave junk food I.E chocolate crisps cakes ETC I have loads more energy too. Now the down side after four weeks I have been experiencing a very painfull bloated stomach and quite acute diarrhoea now Ican not put this down to meratol as I have been having awful acid indigestion too, I have made an appointment to my GP next Tuesday so will post another update then.
